What: IEEE Real Time Communications (RTC) Conference 2026 is pleased to host a poster presentation session with "Best Poster Awards" and "Cash Prizes"! This premier annual event attracts an international, top-tier audience of thought leaders and industry innovators.
When: September 22-23, 2026
Where: Hermann Hall at IIT Main Campus, 3241 S. Federal Street, Chicago, IL 60616
Who may submit: We invite students, research fellows and industry practitioners to present their research results and/or projects in a poster session.
Deadline for submitting your proposal: September 9, 2026
How to submit a poster proposal
To feature a Poster at the RTC Conference, please submit a poster abstract that includes the following information no later than September 9, 2026.
Topic: Please make sure that your research aligns with one of the following tracks at a broad level:
- Real-Time and Multimedia Communications
- Network Technologies and Architectures for RTC applications
- AI and ML in RTC Applications and Services
- Security, Privacy and Resilience in communication networks
For a more detailed list of potential topics, please visit the Research Track CfP. We would like to see posters representing early results and in particular student work.
After you submit your abstract: You will be notified by e-mail of acceptance and details for the poster presentation.
Printing your poster: Once accepted, you will be required to print the poster yourself and bring it to the conference.
Poster Format Guidelines
- Poster dimensions - Not to exceed 30×40 inch
- 300 dots per inch
- Sample traditional poster templates available as guides (see original conference materials)
Poster Submission Guidelines
- Submit as a single PDF version of your poster for conference proceedings
- Uniform naming convention:
authorlastname_firstname_RTC26Poster_V#.pdf
